I am over 30 too, female with no children. And I got an offer from an American school ranked 40, I am the manager of my department in a state-owned company. I really want to study the MBA , but my parents,my sister, my husband ...they all don't agree with me. However I do not want to hurt them, I will try my best to persuade them.

How do you think about it?

I've just been admitted by a US university for MBA degree and will leave at August.University of Wisconsin-whitewater. I'm 35 years old and have worked for 11yrs.

我的情况是刚刚办成移民加拿大，打算过去念个mba，现在正开始准备gmat,对于我这样一个30多岁航空领域的国企小中层来说，出去也没什么损失，我移民的城市是蒙特利尔，虽然听说那边的航空工业很发达，所以当初决定到那里念一个航空领域的mba,以前只知道concordia大学有这个专业mba，但据我在那边的同学说，这是个很烂的学校，由于新移民到这个学校学习的越来越多，现在基本上有一半学生是中国人，同胞们真牛啊，不知加国还有哪个学校有aviation方面的mba（最好supply方面），请指教。

I am 34 and will attend CEIBS MBA this fall.

I believe none pf us should give up our dream and vision. Only sky is the limit

It's true that we are somehow too old for MBA, but there's always miracle.

Just have faith in yourself.

And the whole process of apllication made me re-organize myself.

It's worthy.

I plan to take a P/T MBA program from a B-school ranked 30s this fall, got exemption on both GMAT and essays, and don't want to waste all two-year on a full-time program.

不太懂：你是说申请到 Top MBA，就到“闻道足死”的地步？Wisconsin 是不错的学校，但是请不要迷信 Top 30 能给你带来多大转变。

我认识两个大龄读 20 名左右学校的，最后也是回去原行业，升一级做个小主管。学的东西 90% 都用不上，以前的行业知识也快忘光了，还背了十几万美元债务。周围没读 MBA 的同事，慢慢也提拔上来了。

对于大龄青年来说，如果你想学知识，就近找一个 part-time EMBA 就行了。如果真想有什么突破，最多也就是通过 Top 10 认识一些未来的企业领袖。但是有没有用再说，因为人家比你小个 7-8 岁。
