HKUST VS OXFORD

两个学校该选哪个呢？OXFORD的实力似乎也不很强，但总费用却是UST的一倍，值得去么？哪位大牛给点意见。

For insiders, Oxford business school is a big joke. It is worse than NUS, not to mention HKUST. I would rank it out of the top 100 in the world. However, if your purpose is not to study but to simply get an Oxford degree, then it is OK. The only serious business schools one should consider in England is LBS. It is close to top 10 although not as high as Financial Times claims. The rest is rubbish. The other European business school you should consider is INSEAD.

That said, Oxford economics and humanities are quite good. Your questions show how uninformed you are and how Chinese students can be so easily persuaded by misleading perceptions. It is very sad. Lousy foreign program has made so much money out of the Chinese students without providing high quality education.

Ask around knowledgable individuals before making decisions.

OXFORD名气大多了...其实读书都是为Degree。去英国古老学府熏陶一下也值回票价啦。。。

给我选，老虎蟹都选OXFORD，能考上没钱去借也读。

PS：以前在英国工作过，有个表妹在OXFORD读LAW，因此经常去OXFORD玩，很喜欢。

Oxford本科教育虽然顶尖，MBA也就真一般般.当然比UST还是好不少.不过如果是俺还是选UST, 英国生活费那个高啊.

When we compare, we are only comparing business schools. I can collect data to show that why Oxford business school is a lousy school. Talk to any professors that you can reach, you will find out more.  You guys know about only name but substance. I will get back to this later.
