Ok let me mentor you on this one: it is a firm with an IPO plan.  If you still dont understand the logic of working in a VC invested firm as a senior mgmt, reply and I will explain for you in details.  But I suggest you think less about winner or loser issues and do more on your INSEAD essays to get its offer.

Everyone thinks about IPO and retreats including me. If all MBA look like you and the other guy, I will rather not apply anymore...

Save your time to land a decent job and pay back your loan if you are still learning. We don't need to dispute a school.

If you wanna go to consulting, go for INSEAD because some consulting companies even did not go to duke for campus recruiting.

If you wanna go to IB, go for duke because INSEAD's finance sucks.

If you wanna go to VC or P/E, the school does not matter because these firms do not come to campus for recruiting and  most of them recruite people based on their past experience.
