不对吧。分词preventing应该是修饰前面整件事而不是单单sound的
就是是 声音可以在水里传播千里 这件事情prevent its acoustic energy from dissipating....

C就是fragment啊。。。逗号要有连词才可以连接两个句子吧？

我觉得现在分词作伴随可以表结果~并不一定要逻辑主语吧~与前面动作同时发生逻辑感觉OK吖~我觉得选C有理~可是我不认为没有逻辑主语是排除E的理由~求教···
