关于GWD26-Q37的问题，已经看过讨论了，但还是不明白

这道题用排除法更好一点。
上来辨别，应用by而非as a result of，一个表示方式，一个表示结果，意思是不一样的。排除AD。
接下来分析句意，应该是sound be prevented, 不是 sound prevent. 应该被动，排除E。
然后BC开比，B的from having done太累赘。选C

A.as a result of错误.
B.prevented错误.have ... dissipated累赘.
D.from being...累赘,as a result of错误.
E.preventing逻辑主语错误.

至于根据原文为什么不选A，应该就是as a result of 和by 的区别

又查了语法书，当分词充当状语的时候，其逻辑主语必须与主语一致，如果不一致，则必须有自己的主语并且以独立主格的形式来呈现
所以E中，preventing的主语就是主句中的sound，而且还是主动形式，就变成sound prevent energy，逻辑是不对滴
AB也是，虽然变成了被动形式（prevented），但是意思仍然是sound prevent energy，只不过infer了sound是被其它某种不知名的力量给怎么了，然后才导致了它prevent了energy，逻辑也是不对滴

意思为主，逻辑为王
原文想表达的是 sound travel far， 后面的prevented from...  想表达是一种条件，有点像if it is prevented from...
而c的意思类似于原文，给出condition：its acoustic energy...
E的伴随状语更倾向于事实，即的确在preventing ，与事实不符。
