这道题我最初也选错E了，中了GMAC的着，正确答案应该是C。解释参考白勇语法书307页第13题：

本题中的考点跟上题几乎一模一样。

另外笔者认为，纯从语法上看，E也没错。但逻辑含义似乎C会更好，因为如果用ing形式引导从属部分，其功能应该是作主句的伴随结果，而不是原因，但综合看句子的逻辑含义，主句部分应该是从属部分的结果而非原因。大致翻译一下：声音在水中传得更远，因为声波的能量不会被水中的介质渐弱。这样似乎更符合逻辑也。欢迎大家讨论
