GMAT应该不是非常重要，我认识的人有below700也拿到interview的。如果是我去选人，我一定最先看背景和经历，然后看essay，再次看推荐信，这是个综合的东西，没有一定哪个因素是最重要的。

Forget Wharton, if you have attended the info session and talked to their director Thomas, you would have understood why it is not a pleasant place to go.

Yeah, I partly agree.  I was not able to arouse their interest in me with my application package.  That's it...  I never complain.  

But we shouldn't ignore the factor of luck.  I doubt if they review every applicatin carefully due to the large volume of applications they have received.  You know what I mean....  

Given this, I never think a ding means you're not good...

So, those who have been dinged should keep confidence in themselves.

我来帮大家放松一下，呵呵。偶GMAT：750，W/E： 8年，2年Big 4审计经验， 6年著名跨国电信公司项目投资经验（共策划和参与了超过10亿美金的项目投资）。

但是，偶被Wharton无情Ding掉，连个面试都没有。My Essays自我感觉应该不差，请很多人看过，也找高人指点过，涵盖了Leadership，Community Contribution， Initiatives，等等等等。

不过我也无所谓了，我相信总有一所适合我的学校会录取我。不录取或许说明我根本就不合适这个Program，去了也是受罪。

I was dinged too. However, I don't think your GMAT score is a problem, since I got interview at same GMAT score last year.

It might caused by high volum of applicants this year.So many Chinese apply to whaton since they admitted many students from mainlan China last year

Anyway, forget it and have happy Chinese New Year!

One month for 4 essays, I think they are not bad at least.One of my friends take 2 days on essays and got interview.

Luck accounts much.
