help: MBA or a Doc.Degree?

现在在申请学校.有的朋友建议我去学MBA,这样毕业后选择的面会大些.还有一个很好的朋友建议我去读Cornell hospitality management, Doc.个人很矛盾.背景是国内有名财经学校毕业,研究生学的就是hospitality management.也有相关的酒店工作经验.

建议学DOC的,认为将来可以做faculty也可以做hotel consultant.可是自己想想再去读那么多年的书就难受.加上在国内酒店行业的工作经验,也不是很喜欢这个行业.觉得人的素质普遍较低.可是听说读MBA毕业后,国际学生很难找到工作.自己今年又没挣气,G没考得太好680,申请牛校估计明年还得再考个G.现在先申请一下,找找感觉.不过,觉得自己真得是缺少wisdom,不知道应该去走哪条路..Cornell hospitality management,DOC毕业前景是否很好?如果真得很有前途,也就拼了去读了.如果没什么的话,那就MBA吧.

现在真得很难受,就想,要么都申,让上帝给俺做个决定吧. 在他决定前,还是想听听大家的建议.真得很感激!

If you have very strong W/E background and app package, you definitly can try top 10 MBA though GMAT is lower.

For post MBA job, it depends on c-bschool, but mostly depends on your qualification. normally, top MBA students can find decent jobs, including international students.

I wil recommend you to find a gd guy to marry instead to spend huge nmber of money on MBA.....
