我也做错了,但看了你的贴反而看懂了.

大意是说Whale 起初生活在亚洲淡水中,后来偶尔会去海水中,但仍不能长久,必须不时回到淡水中饮水.

选项中A最直接被上句支持,因为whale 不能长时间生活在海水中,所以无法跨越广阔的海洋去到位于横亚洲大陆对岸的大陆.

我觉得这道题是在时间上玩花样. 可以肯定在60mil年和50mil年之间, whale didn't develop the kidneys enabling them to swim out of "FRESH WATER". 也就是说, whale cannot swim to another continents via "SALTWATER" ocean.

不明白的是D, 我想大概是"only" 用的 too extreme...请大家讨论一下..

b错在哪里？如果化石证明那时海豚不只光喝河水， 正好证明它们两样都喝=一会儿在河里一会儿在海里。

我一开始也选了B，现在看看B是不是在说：

在所有起源于“later than about fifty million years ago”的化石中，没有只喝淡水的whale species的化石。

我觉得这个太绝对了，虽然那时“species of whales develop specialized kidneys enabling them to drink salt water”，也不能说它们就只喝咸水而不喝淡水了吧。因为“它们可以饮用咸水”和“他们只喝咸水”是不等价的。

正如前面同学说的，这是conclusion题，不是support题。

无法从题中信息推出50min后的都只和淡水。相反，题中已经告诉在10min后，whale是喝海水的。
