昨天一口气做完了大全，有1道题目不是很情况，下周就考了，请牛牛们帮忙阿！

这道题目答案是B，我觉得A和B应该都可以，但是A好像更好，因为是分词做状语从句

前面分词短语的逻辑主语只能是后面主句的主语“scientists",而scientist和Based on连在一起不可能表被动的意思，逻辑明显不通，怎么可能有什么东西来把scientists作为base呢？所以只能表示时间上在"estimate"之前，这样在逻辑上也不通。
所以你只能选择另外的表示方法：让"Scientists"成为前面分词短语的逻辑主语和实际意义上的动作发出者。--》B
