讨论：条件2：12000+14000=2M，M=13000，也就是说，五月份至少赚了13000。她六月份赚得比12000多并不能说明他的工资一定比五月份的13000多。所以，条件2不可以
        

Can somebody help explaining the meaning of the question?

why 12000+14000=2M,here the question mentions pay for June would be twice as much as may,while $14,000 and $12,000 are the value what he earned.
