Caterpillars of all species produce an identical hormone called "juvenile hormone" that maintains feeding behavior.Only when a caterpillar has grown to the right size for pupation to take place does a special enzyme halt the production of juvenile hormone. 答案是C，但我觉得B正确，pests在caterpillar stage时，这个enzyme才会起作用，而如果pests不经历caterpillar stage，这个enzyme当然就不会起作用了。请指教

我觉得就好象
有一种药，可以杀死某些病毒（治疗某些病），但是杀不死其它病毒（治疗其它病），
难道就因为这种药不能杀死所有的病毒就不吃吗？
文中的结论也并没要制定一个能杀掉所有的害虫的农药， 而只是针对有a caterpillar stage.的害虫。
