Talk about the most valuable lessons you've learned, what you got out of the education, not necessarily from the classes. Explain potential problems in your transcript. Elaborate on the unique path (if any) that you took, anything that sets you apart from the other undergraduate students. For example, business classes you took as an engineer, competitions you attended (but not necessarily won), or research work you did. Good luck, =)
I messed up on the question at first. I first wrote a wonderful essay discussion what I learned from my jobs during undergrad, because I worked part-time for a start-up during my 3rd year. I thought it could set me apart. However, a friend warned me: ‘Academic’ - of or relating to education and scholarship : academic achievement (of an institution or a course of study) placing a greater emphasis on reading and study than on technical or practical work : an academic high school that prepares students for the best colleges and universities.
I was very upset for a couple days, but I finally wrote the essay again, only talking about what I did in class and projects in school.
