hey, anyone is gonna to be interviewed by alumnus in Hong Kong?

wanna to ask during the alumni search.

say, after searching for  Hong Kong alumnus.... xxx appeared

i should contact only that one and cannot search for another one

can i choose another search and contact anyone?

i should send the invitation one by one? 

that why the information in the webpage said that i should contact the interview admission office if the alumnus doesn't reply me within two business days.... and then the admission officer will delete that data and i can research it?

am i rite?

pls advise for the procedures...thx

After you get the interview invitation, the admission office will assign only one alumus in your city to conduct the interview. You are supposed to contact this person by email. If this person does't reply your email within two days, you can contact the admission office and explain the situation. Then they will assign another person in your city for you.

In a word, you can't choose the interviewer by yourslef, but contact the interview assigned by admission office, unless this person doesn't reply your email within two days.

A question about Chicago Essay.

Can anybody help on the Essay 2A:

"If the admissions committee were to interview one of your closest colleagues, what aspect of your personal development would this person say is especially important for the admissions committee to know?"

What does "Personal Develpoment" mean? Can somebody give a example how to write this essay.

我的背景是5.5年美国半导体业工程师，EE Master's，有两个短期目标选项：

1。毕业后直接回国做咨询，因为有语言优势，但是需要自己找工作。

2，毕业后在美国做咨询，没有语言优势，但是on-campus recruiting可以帮助。

我想请问，那一个更让adcom信服？

有几个问题：

1 网上申请的personal information里面，VISA那一栏是要选student visa (intended)吗？在填完父母信息后，还有spouse/significant other information，没有spouse，需要填兄弟姐妹信息吗？

2 GMAT和TOEFL成绩是否需要寄送官方成绩单给学校？有人说是录取以后再寄，现在self－report就可以了，是这样吗？

3 contact information里面，一个是home address; 另外一个是国际学生必填的Permanent International Residence Information － Foreign Permanent，是什么意思？
