cylindrcal tennis ball cans are being packed into cartons, if each can has radias of 2 inches,and a height of 12 inches, and the diemension of each carton are 14 inches by 16 inches by 20 inches , what is the maximum number of tennis ball cans that can be packet

the ans is 20

半径是2，直径是4，盒子14、     16、20
                  最大1（高）、 4、 5
这样排列是20

14/12≈1,16/2*2=4,20/2*2=5,
4*5=20

还有两种，也是20。
16/12=1余4，14/4≈3，20/4=5，3*5=15，前面余下的4还可以横放20/4=5个，所以20。
20/12=1余8，14/4≈3，16/4=4，3*4=12，前面余下的8还可以横放2*16/4=8个，所以20。

mm, i am not sure it is right:

radias of 2 inches * 2 = 4,
16/4 = 4,
20/4 = 5,
so 4 * 5 = 20
tennis ball cans has a  height of 12 inches, and  the diemension of each carton are 14 inches, so there are 2 extra inches empty , but one can occupies 4 inches, you can't put one more.
so 20 is the maximum.

因为觉得奇怪
网球是球状的对吗
它的半径是2，那么它的高应该是直径4才对
为什么会是12呢

不是把网球装到carton里面，是把网球罐（can,圆柱形的那种罐子）装到carton里面。
