步骤2：找出undermine的内容是啥。那就是找出能most seriously weaken第二段所说内容的选项，那显然是A！

POSSIBLE EXPLANATION是这个whirling gas in M87是星云，楼上的JOJO理解错误了

中间有个MIGHT，刚好和POSSIBLE对应

      in the last sentence of the first paragraph?

这里灰色的部分that从句不是修饰M87的，因为M87在最后一句之前就已经出现过，所以POSSIBLE EXPLANATION应该在最后一句中找，而不是在第二段去找

UNDERMINE的话就应该说不是星云

所以A是加强了，应该选B

B 当然是B，A的作用明显是支持啦

本人认为是A，理由如下：第一段的最后一句话是： A few skeptics have argued that the concentration of mass necessary to explain the speed of the whirling gas is not necessarily a blackhole: the concentration in M87 might be a cluster of a billion or so dim stars全句，而不是冒号后面的内容。全句是skeptics的观点，如果要weaken的话，A是对他们的weaken了。B在逻辑上不是一个好的反驳，何况他反驳的是宇航员们的观点。

BTW，这个月黑洞篇考这题了哇？
