看来这题考的是对social context的理解.我开始认为这个指的是社会的大环境.后来查了一下,social context主要是说得个人的生活背景.所以还是D了.

觉得D好，因为D说是个传记，与文中提到的那些女人在什么时候出生什么时候成熟相符，文中的作品也是一个传记的形式。
而且social context 我觉得正如上面所言，不一定非是社会背景，个人成长环境也是可以说成social context的
而且文中最后一句说：rather than as a career of...说明不是以事业为中心写的，所以与C 也不一样啊
