其实2-height相当于一个自定义函数，the 2-height of x 这个函数值等于满足下列条件的最大非负整数n:2^n是x的因子

the 2-height of x 只不过是自定义函数的表达。

n of x没看到上述句子中有啊，要看具体语句的。

不是习惯表达，都要看整个句子的含义。
