看了N遍的一个题，终于明白了。

BC是最容易排除的，偶一开始和你一样，也在这两个上面打转，但题干已经给出了中雨和小雨的天数1990年比1910年短，选项又说这两种雨的天数“一样”和“长于1910”，正好和原文直接矛盾，偶一开始的错误在于把不下雨的天数也绕进去了，当然出不来了。

E错的也很明显，原文最后说“1990年总雨量大”，而E说“1990的总雨量小”，注意：E这里没有用“下雨的天数”（DAYS），而是amount of rainfall 和原文中的total rainfall完全对应，错的干净利落。

至于D，有点迷惑，有点像数学的DS题，6楼和9楼解释比较清楚了，偶就不再多述。6楼地举例解释，9楼做了类比，你可以用9楼的原理，去理解6楼的例子可能会好一些。

还有就是9楼说的：对题干的理解也很重要。有个人告诉偶，做逻辑题如果完全看不懂，就选最不像的一样。偶将信将疑。

答案是A,怎么也想不通!

我的分析如下:

H=heavy rain, M= moderate rain, S=slight rain, N=no rain, (单位AYS)

已知: H1+M1+S1+N1=H2+M2+S2+N2=T(total days in one year)

H1+M1+S1=1.2*(H2+M2+S2)

M1<M2, S1<S2--à M1+S1<M2+S2

从已知得知: H1/H2>1.2------àA is false

           T-N1=1.2(T-N2)---à N2-N1=0.2T--àN2>N1

           M1+S1+N1<M2+S2+N2---------àB and C are false

           The total number of inches of rain= the average inches of total rain* the total number of rainy days

           Because M1<M2, if D was right, the average inches of rain in 1990 would have been over twice what it had been in 1910. However, the range of moderate rain is from 1 to 2, so it’s impossible for this event to happen. D is false.

         The average amount of rainfall per month= the total amount of rainfall/12 months

         The total amount of rainfall= the average inches of rainfall* the total days of rainfall

         So we just have to compare the total amount of rainfall between 1990 and 1991. Although M1+S1<M2+S2, it is still possible that the total amount of rainfall in 1990 was higher than in 1991,for the days of heavy rainfall in 1990 are more than 1.2 times those in 1991, and heavy rainfall can enhance the average inches of rainfall a lot.

 E is correct

虽然heavy rainfall1990比1910少，但是每一次heavy rainfall的precipitation可以无限大。所以A是完全可能的的。

楼上的MM，题干中已经给出了total rainfall for the year was 20 percent higher in 1990 than in 1910，所以E是明显的错。

这种数学比例题绝不是难题，应该是CR中较简单的送分题。

谢谢楼上的GG， 我想通了，把题目最后一句的TOTAL RAINFALL 理解成TOTAL RAIFALL DAYS了 其实应该是 DAYS*PRECIPITAION

这个题目真阴险。
我当初就是按照排除法来做的，一看A觉得不对，所以排来排去选了D.也没有细推敲。
现在看来，A确实阴险！

注意这个问题中的also，这就暗示答案了，肯定是一脉相承的。而且天数多少和下雨量的多少文章没有给出关系。

我和司JJ的想法不谋而合：）

先看题目下意识推出：heavy rainfall 的total number of inches在1990是绝对higher than 1910;

但选项根本没出得这么容易。因为很忽略了number of days和number of inches的区别。可能的情况是heavy足够量大到弥补moderate 和light的较少量。（因为它们有上限，所以天数少，雨量就少，而Heavy没有上限的，可以出现“天数少却下雨量很大”的情况）。正是A。
