Accounting major

Chicago:

We do not interview candidates. While we have made some first round offers, we have not
finished making them. We have not yet put anyone on the waiting list. You
will hear from us with an admissions decision by email on or before March 1.
For the accounting dissertation area, we will admit at least 6 students.
没想到招这么多，不过听说一年fail一个，5年之后就剩一个能毕业的了。

Cornell:

PhD applications are currently under review with the admissions committee.
All decisions will be released online February 28, 2006.

估计现在没消息差不多就是被拒了。

LBS:

I will let applicants know about the success of their applications next
week. The panel will be meeting soon to make a decision, I shall be
informing candidates after that.

其实早就interview了，不知道为什么还不做决定，sigh

OSU:

The faculty is still reviewing files. They have only made two offers as of now.
 They should finish reviews by March 15.

不知道他们想招几个。。。

Kellogg：

Regarding your e-mail, interviews are not part of the general application process. We do have an update on your application status. A decision was made and a letter was sent from Northwestern's Graduate School on February 20. You should receive the letter shortly. I'm sorry, but Northwestern's policy does not allow me to release decisions over e-mail.

I guess they hesitate to tell bad news. I can not imagine what kind of applicants will be admitted without interview at such top schools.

不用管PSU的预申请

你在美国的话不需要这步

当然不在美国的也不是必须
