答案是E，我选了D。做的时候认为分词做结果状语从句特别顺畅，排除E是因为it觉得有点指代不清。其实D的it也指代不清。想问一下大家

（1）D选项的结果状语从句不正确，是不是因为不符合逻辑。m underwent human settlement这个动作（同位语删去），不能导致这样的结果，即making m an ideal site，很多地方都underwent human settelement；只有想E所说，M是一个最后人类居住的地方，所以导致了...

（2）大全注解中，没有表示伴随；在大全454题，看到石头人与paopao的讨论说，分词只要做状语，无论是结果还是原因，都包含了伴随的含意。大家对这句话是怎么看的？个人以为分词做原因状语、结果状语和伴随，都是各司其职，不一定要包括伴随的含意。

                         i.              分词做状语，引导原因状语从句 og154/39

                       ii.              分词做状语，引导结果状语从句 og185/197/259

                      iii.              分词作状语，表示伴随的动作  og163 sloth hangs from trees…, sleeping and moving…

D的问题在于它的变动把原居的意思变了。

原句：M是地球上去后一个遭受人类settle的地方。

D选项：M (...同位语) 遭受了人类的settlement。

你可以感受到这是在说两个意思，所以改变了原句意，不正确。

E选项中的it，按指代的顺序应该首先指代从句的主语，即M，个人认为没有模糊不清。在G的试题中，it的指代并不是很死板的，按指代顺序先主语后宾语，当指代的两者是不同的事物，且都在逻辑上通顺时，才能算作是指代模糊不清。
