Don't know where you get this information. Unfrotunately it is not true. I am a first year Chinese student at Kellogg. And a far as I know, in the 2Y program, only 1 first year Chinese student worked in consulting. The rest of us have very diverse background - consumer goods, healthcare, finance, technology etc. Kellogg does not look to admit people from a specific industry. Instead, it looks to admit accomplished candidates from various industries. No matter which industry you are from, you have to show Adcome that you have what it takes to be successful in/after BSchool.
Visit us at Kellogg MBA panel and we are happy to answer any questions you have. Good luck with all you applications.
I got this information from your alumni at last Sunday's Information session in Shanghai. This is the situation for mainland China. I stayed 5 years in US and knew that Kellogg would recruit Chinese people with diversity backgrounds from US. However, for mainland situation, I have to assume the information I got from your alumni were correct. However, your comments seem quite different from your alumni's last Sunday. |
