很多人提到more established industries有歧义,一开始我查点也被迷惑了.

但是,请注意,more之前有"the",所以只能是"more established" + "industries"的意思.

如果要表达"more"+"established industries"的话,前面不应该加"the"

所以,还是选A!

companies that compete one day may be partners the next 句意才通

one day跟the next可以呼应 compete跟be partners互应

我认为答案没错,　选B,　下面一点浅见:

1. in the more established industries和 in industries that are more established没区别

2. as competing companies one day may be partners the next和companies that compete one day may be partners the next, 我也没发现有哪个不对.

3.我的理解是关键在于整句结构, whereas(对比)和although(让步)的不同maｄe a significant difference　ｂｅｔｗｅｅｎ　ｔｈｅｍ, 其中as是表原因的连词

A. whereas clause1, clause2, as clause3 = (clause1+clause2)+clause3

B. although clause1, clause2, as clause3 = clause1+(clause2+clause3)

稍想一下,就可以看出Ｂ更符合逻辑,　ａｓ引导的ｃｌａｕｓｅ３是表ｃｌａｕｓｅ２的原因的,应该修饰ｃｌａｕｓｅ２,和ｃｌａｕｓｅ１没关系.

前者more修饰不清，有歧义，究竟是修饰more established还是more industries
这个问题新东方小蓝里有同样的题目。在这里后者优于前者

而大家讨论的one day 和compete的问题，我觉得B是可以说的通的。副词修饰形容词没有问题的，相当于competing one day,而且个人以为B中反而be动词前后对称的更好呢
