Seven different numbers are selected from the integers 1 to 100, and each number is divided by 7.  What is the sum of the remainders?

(1)   The range of the seven remainders is 6.

(2) The seven numbers selected are consecutive integers.

B. Statement (2) ALONE is sufficient, but statement (1) alone is not sufficient.

why B is correct? how about 1234567 ?

因为被7除的整数余数只可能是0,1,2,3,4,5,6

而7个连续整数被7除的余数一定是这七个数,所以它们的和也就可以得出来了啊

1,2,3,4,5,6,7被7除的余数不正是1,2,3,4,5,6,0吗?
