2．        Condition：缺氧 CH anoxic basin：限制流通所以低氧+富含丰富有机物
3．        Geologic path（地质路径）：大洲漂移drift，分裂rifting，撞击collision，使得有机物从xxx地方到两级和沙漠然后出现在今天的地方
4．        Pressure Cooker高压锅，让oil gas成熟 让他们有足够的时间随着（on the back of）板块运动而migrate，从沉积盆地深层释放，让他们在逃到地球表面前，流回这个“蓄水池”

板块构造是我们发现oil和gas的很重要的理论支撑，帮助我们理解为什么沙漠和极地地区的oil和gas资源是最多的。与其他2个地方 河流三角洲和离岸大陆边缘的海岸 并称为世界四大oil和gas储藏地。
说oil和gas是如何形成的：是微生物的埋葬物在缺氧的环境下，制造出一种oil和gas必备的物质，然后经过板块构造和大陆漂移在缺氧的水里面形成的。河水会带来大量的有机沉淀物，然后新形成的盆地会限制水的循环，而且创造一个氧气较低的环境。比如gulf of mexico现在还在制造oil和gas，主要就是其限制水循环的环境。
然后说pt还有一个功能是提供geologic paths,就是这些沉淀盆地的下一步。大陆漂移会让很多有机物质去到两极沙漠，最终去到哪儿是看运气的。实际上某个沙漠蕴含着冰川的遗留，然后南极洲有很多煤炭有机物，而且很有可能有非常丰富的oil和gas，她们的形成的物质有可能原本是来自地球的另一边（主要就是说沙漠和冰川的这些oil和gas的形成最初的物质是由于大陆漂移来自于别的地方）
最后说pt还有一个功能是创造pressure cooker，慢慢的让有机物变成oil和gas。由于oil和gas的一个重要组成物质比水更加的具有漂浮性，所以最后总是会浮上来。但是板块运动会trap这个物质防止它飘上来，形成一些reservoirs最终就是oil和gas储藏地
