不同纬度和不同特点的物种在灭绝时期的情况不同。小的动物在灭绝中生存下来的更多。根据化石纬度越高生物越古老,向低纬度进化和扩张,低纬度的物种更年轻。但是高纬度生物灭绝花的时间更长,低纬度在更多的时间内灭绝。具体讲了一次严重的KT灭绝。
