前几天有人问过此题，我答过。其实，不该有什么困惑。说白料，这就是个大于、小于的数学题。

B\C\D\E都与 In 1990, there were fewer days with light rainfall than in 1910 and fewer with moderate rainfall相矛盾，所以不对。

而A为何对呢？

因为days are categorized as having heavy rainfall (more than two inches)，只有大于2 inches，都叫heavy rainfall，如果每天的heavy rainfall很大很大，比如1000 inches，那么，heavy rainfall天数少点没关系，1990总的total rainfall仍然可能高于1910。

注意原文问的是also possible。
