Yale placement很不错，这几年有去berkeley, chicago, toronto, penn state, lbs等等。

感觉他们empirical的junior比较多，theory只有今年招了一个duke的graduate。后面两年看不到placement 可能是program 太小了？

好像在gradcafe看到有人说过yale accounting去年毕业的学生没有找到工作。。。
看起来大牛好像选duke比较好啊~

Well, in my opinion, Duke is the best choice for you.

1 you don't know whether to do empirical or analytical, so CMU is not a good option. Yale is also a good place for theorists (Pingyang and Yun Zhang), but that was 10 years ago. At Duke, you have Qi Chen and Xu Jiang as theorists, Katherine Schipper, Jennifer Francis, Mohan  as great empiricists, so you have more options.

2 Even if you decide to do theory now, it's not a no-brainer question at all. CMU was the best place for theorists, but basically everyone was under Jon Glover, who is now at Columbia. Several productive Chinese AP left in the past few years, and that might affect the co-author opportunities, I don't know.
