求助LSE waiting list的审批时间以及该干嘛

收到LSE项目的waiting list邮件里是说：
Your application will be sent back to the selectors for final consideration within eight weeks, and we will contact you with a final decision as soon as possible after that time.LSE FOR YOU：
The selectors have been unable to reach a final decision for the moment and your application has been placed on a waiting list . An email has been sent to you. Your file will be passed back to the selectors for a final decision in six weeks' time. As soon as more information is available it will be posted here.


一个是8周一个是6周，还有这些话怎么理解呢？ 是6-8周内会出结果，还是说6-8周后材料才会再到department，然后至于department什么时候给final decision是不确定的？






以及我在wl上该做什么吗？联系学校？argue？表忠心啥的？还是默默等待……？
