og13 RC关于临时工的阅读 否命题和逆否命题的问题

og13 rc第11篇的49题
The first sentence in the passage suggests that the “observers” mentioned in line 1 would be most likely to predict which of the following?
A. That the number of new temporary positions would decline as fewer workers who preferred temporary employment entered the workforce
B. That the total number of temporary positions would increase as fewer workers were able to find permanent positions
C. That employers would have less control over the terms of workers’ employment as workers increased their bargaining strength
D. That more workers would be hired for temporary positions as product demand increased  opposite
E. That the number of workers taking temporary positions would increase as more workers in any given demographic group entered the workforce


原文中的定位句是:Some observers have attributed the dramatic growth in temporary employment that occurred in the United States during the 1980s to 49.increased participation in the workforce by certain groups, such as first-time or reentering workers, who supposedly prefer such arrangements.
意思就是说  因为喜欢做临时工作的人的增长,所以临时工的数量增加了
那么A选项中说,如果喜欢做临时工作的人变少了,临时工的数量变少。
这是对原文作了一个否命题吧??那为什么是正确的呢??  可判断的正确的逆否命题不应该是   如果临时工的数量变少,说明喜欢做临时工的人变少  这样么?

OG的解释貌似是:根据文中第一句话,所有的prediction都是基于number of workers in temporary employment和the preference of these workers for temporary employment之间的关系,强调的是没有其他影响因素了,也就是说临时工总是增加只是因为一个原因,就是愿意当临时工的新工人数量增加,换言之,如果临时工数量减小了,也就是相应的因为愿意做临时工的人少了,不知道这样你能不能理解。
