The HKU Master of Finance (MFin) Programme offered by the Faculty ofBusiness & Economics represents an optimal mix of fundamental andcutting-edge knowledge in all areas of modern finance. The Programme offersthree streams: 1) Corporate Finance, 2) Financial Engineering and 3) RiskManagement. Students may concentrate in one of the three areas according totheir interests and career aspirations. Students can be awarded the degree withdouble concentration in Corporate Finance and Financial Engineering, CorporateFinance and Risk Management, or Financial Engineering and Risk Managementprovided that they have successfully completed all the twelve core courses inboth areas plus two electives.

  

Successful graduates will enjoy a competitive advantage in a wide rangeof career opportunities in commercial and investment banks, brokerage andinvestment firms, insurance companies, treasury departments of non-financialcorporations, regulatory agencies, and also consulting and accounting firms.
