To prequalify for selection, you must meet certain criteria. You must—

be a first-time test taker
submit information for prequalification online between April 1 and June 27, 2005

In addition, you must be willing to—

register for the test between June 29 and August 14, 2005
agree at the time of registration to the terms and conditions of testing and the privacy policies in effect at the time of testing, which describe the collection, transmission, and processing of certain personal data in the U.S., including the digital fingerprint, photograph, and signature to be collected at the test center
pay for the test at time of registration, using a Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or JCB card (you will be reimbursed for the registration fee after completing the entire process)
test between July 15 and August 15, 2005, at one of the test centers designated for limited summer testing
complete an online survey that will be e-mailed to you by September 30, 2005, following the official scoring of the exam
