would have been是虚拟语气，表示架设这种情况存在的话。

其实我看这题主要是一些术语把人搞晕了。如果除去那些术语，或者我们把术语用字母替代，找到逻辑关系就容易些了。题目提出的架设是全音阶早就被使用多年了，基于的理由是cave bear leg bone做的Neanderthal flute有一样的音阶，但是只比较到了第6音阶，所以E给出了支持，就是说除非那个骨头足够长，能把全音阶都做上去，才能证明全音阶在western musician之前可能早就被使用多年了。
