请问fellowship和scholarship有什么不同, 前者是不是free的?

i don't think there is any difference.

just the matter of "fellowship" sounds cooler. and the funding source could be different. but both are free - u don't need to do anything.

fellowship 一般在美国是不用交税的，如果是scholorship就要具体看scholarship包括什么了．除付学费外的scholarship是要交税的．
