额，见谅~我知道JHU的finance很水，综合来说最多跟罗村那样，提到它是觉得他家综排高，学校本身是牛校。。

一不是Ivy, 二不是target(even本科都不是), 三不進S16 or even top 30 (for now),
綜排明顯是被醫科拉高, 本身整體算不算大牛也成疑問, 別說business school了.
(肯定是強校來的, 不過又未到路人皆知級別)

到了碩士還會只看綜排而不理學科/專業水平/名氣的話, 我之前說洗洗睡+要吃藥果然沒說錯 (you are not alone anyway...)

再講, 要學校名的話, 去Columbia買個CVN更牛更方便......
要不各Ivy的TESOL也不錯的

P.S. I will say it is reasonable for you to not going to Bocconi, if the reason is you are not confident that you will find a job in Europe after graduation - though this implies that you should not had "only applied to EU continental school" at the very first place.

Columbia CVN is an education plaform of the engineering school, which provide various type of degree through online mode, in which you can have something like MS in Operational Research (method in finance) without a single travel to US.
and the certificate, transcript and etc are the same with the on-campus one.

another good choice is JHU Master Applied Economics - you can do that on-line / mxture / on-campus approach too.
據說stanford MSE也可以只是on-campus 三個月, 其他online搞掂.........

買個名校degree? 冇難度啦. 有錢咪得lo.

水? 有所謂嗎? 大家都是當HR/tema head是白痴來騙的吧, right?

给LZ问问题的水平跪了。
我知道有JHU读完第一个master的人，嫌JHU课程水以及中国人太多，又来Bocconi读第二个master的。
当然也有在Bocconi读完master，觉得很失望，又去其他地方读一个master的。
LZ如果在四大工作过，会知道北京上海分所有部分员工是LSE、哥大、JHU、Michigan毕业的master，甚至有哈佛和牛津毕业的。
感觉LZ对学历抱有太高的期望了，除非你做学术，否则学历只是你找工作的一个敲门砖。进门之后就归零了，有时候，太光鲜的学历反而会成为同事嫉妒和攻击你的把柄，很多错误一般学校的学生犯了大家会理解并且耐心教，而名校的学生不行。
除了投行和咨询，其实其他行业并没有太看重文凭，更看重的是实际中的工作能力。甚至在欧美，投行和咨询的社招或者MBA招聘，也不会再太看重本科文凭。
留在国外是凭自己的实力和运气，LSE和IC这种高大上的学历比起HEC和Bocconi未必有太多优势。
回国找工作的情况的话，金融这种还是很拼家庭背景的，而且挺看重本科学校的。硕士仅仅是锦上添花而已。我不认为LSE、IC一年的硕士能使人脱胎换骨。很多人是本科毕业该找什么工作，硕士毕业还是找什么工作。所以有LSE的硕士去四大做审计的。

I‘m a 16 Prospective student aiming for EU continental school. Bocconi Finance is my first choice, and SSE the second. A Business-English major in 211 plus a Business Administration Minor in 上财. MAJOR GPA 3.71;MINOR GPA 3.5; T:106;G:740; internship in credit department in bank of communications & IB in Shenwan securities. I am wondering whether my background is competitive for the program and whether Italian is a must to get a job after grad there? (beginner in Spanish, German now) Actually, already got an offer in advisory risk from EY.

1. Nothing is a must, but the language is the most important factor of able to get a job there or not, more important than what school you study I will say (unless you are very very technical / qualtitative, or you are competititve to fight for a role in London). Given your background (minor, in business), I don't think you can escape from it.

2. Bocconi Finance is a quite quantitative finance master. Make sure you are ready for it.

3. well.........are you sure you wanna start your career, in finance, at Milano?
time to consult a doctor if it is really the case......(unless special personal reason)
not to mention Spain.

4. enough for admission or not? Frankly I don't know, just try. just add a few safety school at the bottom, done. The key point is, I think if you are not planning to stay in Europe after the master, I will suggest you to take the risk advisory offer from EY first, and then further study later.

5. (put aside your current language process). suggest you to also consider France school GE program (e.g. HEC), as the internship opp are very useful for job seeking.
good schools in Germany speaking region (e.g. HSG, Mannheim, Goethe) also worth consider.
