Winter wheat and spring wheat are usually about equally profitable.他们“通常”获得相等的利润。但是其中一种产量锐减的时候，利润是否相等就不一定了。GMAT认为供求关系决定价格是作为常识的。

还是不理解啊，第一题文章不是说种spring wheat不是更多利益吗？

Both answers make sense.

1) The answer provides an explanation to refute a potential claim that higher price for winter wheat might bring the the revenue from the winter wheat higher than that of the spring wheat.

2) This one, you have to comprehend a lot of facts. Although some farmers did not plant corn, most did. And if the chemicals used to prepare the field for corn were used, most of fields that have been planted corn, would not be suitable for the growth of soybeans due to the use of the chemical.  Only the vacant land which has no corn planted previously is suitable for soybean planting.
