(1) 16 students at the scholl study both French and Japanese

这题偶也做过。

由题干可得出：（以学法语和日语的学生为研究对象）学生可分为学法语的，学日语的，都学的和都不学的。其中学日语的>=100；两门语言都学的占学法语的学生数的4%。

由（1），16个学生既学法语由学日语，那么推出：学法语的学生是16/4% = 400；无法确定；不成立；

由（2），设两种语言都学的为m人，学法语的为m/4%，学日语的为m/10%可确定，成立；
