今天收到chicago的据信，心情即复杂又平淡。后面还有两所学校，不过到现在还没面试，应该是没希望的。回想自己申请的过程，的确也不能算非常投入。8月份决定申请，10月份考G，11月考T，1月份申请了4所M7的学校。自信心过于膨胀。。。呵呵

到现在，chicago面试了却被ding了，wharton早就ding了，其他两个也是早晚的事情。看来还是技不如人呀。

本来在申请的时候对自己还是很有信心的，时间的确紧了点，但是从各方面收集到的信息，加上自己的努力，感觉还是不错。直到申请完，看到CD上那么多牛人，才感叹自己投入实在太少。

祝福这里所有追梦的人能梦想成真！

Best of the wishes to the other two applications! Your situation is similar to mine. I am too confident about my background and W/E, despite sub-par GMAT scores. After receiving one rejection, I found the game is not as easy as I thought when I sent my application. Good luck to both of us

MBA is not my whole life. I guess it is the reason I lost and still have such mood. Always looking for the best and be comfortable with the reachable. This can keeps me happy.

frankly i am very sad. I wanted to go to Chicago not only because of the school's reputation but also because there's someone I love there. now that i got dinged at Chicago, I also lost the connection between us two =( I took GMAT in late December and spent 2 weeks writing my essays. I guess I deserve that ding... and there's no way i will get promoted to manager this year, so i dont see a huge career progress in the near future that will strength my application for R1 next year.

This is fate, and i am still learning to accept it.

Ding really bite but it is part of our applicants' life. Yes, the next step depends on you: whether you want to continue in this year or not. Anyway, I can feel what you felt because I also got ding from Wharton and Chicago on 12/19 and 12/20 last year (Yeah, two days in a row!).

What changed in your title matters a lot less than what changed in your levels of involvement and responsibility. It could make a significant difference if you could look for opportunities to contribute, to projects at work and in the community, then really spend some time to put together a thoughtful application.
