The organisations listed below have Partnership and Reciprocity Agreements with RICS. In some cases RICS does not have an arrangement but simply has good relations and recognises the important role that these organisations play in providing local expertise. Americas - Canada Appraisal Institute of Canada (AIC) AIC is a professional organisation specialising in real estate appraisal. RICS has a Memorandum of Understanding, driven by RICS Americas and AIC members are approved for Graduate Route 3. Americas - USA American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) AICPA is the national, professional organization for all Certified Public Accountants. Its mission is to provide members with the resources, information, and leadership that enable them to provide valuable services in the highest professional manner to benefit the public as well as employers and clients. CFA Institute (previously known as Association of Investment Management and Research) CFA Institute is composed of more than 70 000 individual voting members and 131 non-voting member societies that believe in setting a higher standard for the investment profession. Individual members either hold the CFA designation or are active in the investment business and agree to abide by the CFA Institute ethical requirements. Designated members are approved for Graduate Route 3. Additionally anyone with an CFA credential and 10 years experience is eligible for the RICS Senior Professional route. Certified Commercial Investment Management Institute (CCIM) CCIM is a recognized expert in the disciplines of commercial and investment real estate. A CCIM is an invaluable resource to the commercial real estate owner, investor, and user, and is among an elite corps of 7 500 professionals across North America who hold the CCIM designation. Designated members are approved for Graduate Route 3. Counselors of Real Estate (CRE) The Counselors of Real Estate is a professional membership organization established exclusively for leading real property advisors. The purpose of the organization is to advance, enhance, and support these leaders by serving as a resource for information, by creating opportunities for professional development, by facilitating networking, and by providing the benefits of camaraderie. All members are linked to one another by their commitment to integrity, competence, community, trust, and service; and they adhere to a strict Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Practice. RICS has a memorandum of understanding with CRE, members of CRE are approved for election as "eminent professionals" and also eligible for the Senior Professional Route. |
