10-8的D我想應該是錯在那個the capability of the respiratory system in dealing

A選項的ability比較好  另外用to表示目的才是對的

10-36則是後面的那個many of which are不好

有點怪~"~  還是答案的many of them 好一點

一點小淺見  請指教^^

第一题

capability的用法应该是：

……capability of sb./sth. of doing sth。而在D选项中最后是to do sth.，错误。同理根据capability的用法排除掉B、C两项。同时B和E中还有不可饶恕的because of的用法，在GMAT中，动词通常优先于名次，because通常优先于because of。

第二题

A、which的非限制性定语从句，应紧跟被修饰的对象，即逗号前面就应该是which修饰的对象。并且在GMAT中，which不能修饰人物只能用who。

B、肯定错误，with介词使用错误。

DE肯定错误，犯了GMAT最不可饶恕的罪过，即用like引导句子。

谈一下我的个人看法。

第一题，区别especially与specially。不从语法搭配讲，从用法和字意上将，especially可翻译成“尤为”（强调显著性）而specially可翻译成“特殊地”（强调特殊性）。这里谈到污染物，从汉语角度讲“尤为严重的污染物”符合该句句意思，因为该句并没有讲到Sulfur dioxide的特殊污染性，而讲其对呼吸系统的显著危害性。

区别ability和capability. ability可翻译成“机能”capability可翻译成“性能”。谈到呼吸系统当然是用机能。

这两个词理解对了，这道题也自然做对了。大家回想一下以前考语文，咱们什么时候花大把时间特别去准备语法了？对语言真正的理解程度是一个以不变应万变的东西。

第二题，先不看which的使用是否恰当或者指代是否明确等等。单说这个句子的主干，“妇女在中级管理层和轻工业工作”women work in middle management and light industry.

所有把work in中间加动词的选项都是错的。剩下BC，B是最容易被排除的，所以选c.
