求问：
1. 为什么offering和letting不是平行
2. pick the most important to them 中的them是谁？如果是employees的话，用themselves可以吗？

這裡不是平行的吧，我理解letting是修飾benefits，進一步闡述benefit的東西

啊这样好像有点懂了，所以后面的those不是指代前面的benefits，而是特指一件重要的东西。
我是不是说得有点乱hhh...

关于themselves，og是这样解释的：
the function of themselves is unclear. Normally, themselves would be either reflexive or emphatic, but in this case it cannot reasonably be taken in either of those ways. This nonstandard use of the pronoun makes it unclear whether to themselves is supposed to modify pick or most important of them.

themselves可以作为“反身代词”或者“强调”
Mike was proud of himself when he successfully surfed a 25-foot wave.
Bogdan and Souvik admired themselves in the mirror after crushing the GMAT.

原句
Employees can pick the benefits that are most important to them.
没有必要强调是“他们本身的”利益，句子意思只是陈述一件事情：公司给予什么优惠，让员工可以......（其实这一点我认为还是有点牵强，希望有大神纠正补充）

从另外一个角度看，作为一个代名词themselves, 用在这里会产生歧义
-letting employees pick the most important to themselves
-letting employees pick the most important to themselves
这里究竟是强调员工自己选择这个动作，还是强调对于他们来说很重要这一点呢？

综上，A选项就挺棒棒的

those是指benefits
ron说过，", ing" 修饰前面一个从句的条件：
1.修饰前面一个句子的动作，且前面句子动作的主语和“, ing”主语一样
Joe broke the window, angering his dad.

2.同一动作的次级
some companies are offering a wider range of benefits, letting employees pick those most important to them.
这里let是offer的次级，可以表示为
offer
--let....
--其他

3.直接、即时的结果,proximate, immediate and produced as an essentially unavoidable result

我认为最重要的是看出themselves会产生歧义，当时就在themselves這纠结很久！

同一句中，代词指代应该是同一人或物才行吧~

可是同一指代不应该是相同的代词么？them 和反身代词themselves算是同一个代词么

我觉得上面说的反身代词之类的语法点放在这里还是不清楚，因为themselves放在这里翻译是说的通的。
这里我觉得最主要的问题是themslves 修饰对象不清楚的问题（ OG答案里也提到了）：
试着带回去翻译- them：
letting employees pick those most important to them1： those most important to them “对他们最重要的” 逻辑正确，修饰对象很明显，只能是这个。
2： pick them 明显逻辑不通， “挑他们”， them是指代的员工，自己挑自己明显不对。
所以them修饰对象很清晰。

试着带回去翻译- themselves:
1: pick themselves, ‘自己挑’
2：those most important to them， ‘对他们自己最重要的’，逻辑也说的通。
那如果两个翻译都是对的，那themselves的修饰对象到底是谁呢？这样就有歧义了。

此外，带有themselves的选项里，
B: doing放尾句开头词，修饰前面整句话，表示因果或者伴随。这里明显是因果关系，先设置福利，之后让员工挑选，这样的先后顺序。但是主要错在them 指代的是benefits, 而themselves, 指代员工。同一个代词，需要指代对象需相同。所以排除。
C，E：都是and链接的，这样因果关系就消失了，不优。外加themselves修饰不清晰。
D： and因果关系也消失了
所以综上，A是完全没有任何修饰歧义，逻辑关系层次最合理的。
