小弟已经被学校录取了，今天收到了一封邮件，看的小弟是云里雾里的，搞不清什么意思。看情况还要我赶快回复的，请各位大牛们帮忙看一下~ Based on the information provided in your graduate application, you have been classified as non-resident for the purposes of tuition calculations. If you believe this classification is incorrect, please email the Graduate College within 30 days of receipt of this message. We will review the pertinent information to determine if there has been an error or if you will need to submit a Petition for In-State Status. Students who do not request a correction of their out-of-state status from the Graduate College within 30 days must submit a Petition for In-State Status with all supporting documentation to the Office of the Registrar within the published petition deadlines.
小弟的疑惑在这里，信里前半部分说If you believe this classification is incorrect, please email the Graduate College within 30 days of receipt of this message. We will review the pertinent information to determine if there has been an error or if you will need to submit a Petition for In-State Status. 我的理解是 让我看看这个non-resident的状态对不对，不对的话给他们发邮件要求改正
但是后面又有一句Students who do not request a correction of their out-of-state status from the Graduate College within 30 days must submit a Petition for In-State Status 我的理解是，没有申请对 out-of-state状态进行改正的学生必须在30天内提交in-state的申请。
