1. 技术革命，工业革命利弊
在19世纪末期，美国经历了前所未有的技术革新和工业改革
举例：
铁道，蒸汽机，资源
人口迁移从技术活到流水线。
agrarian 耕地的
造就了robber barons 横向纵向的积累财富，形成垄断
弊端：
疾病传播，政治家用提供工作换取选票。
男女孩童需要工作更长时间在不安全的工厂里换取低收入，购买一下便宜的量产品

2.反工业化和城市化运动及影响
polarization：激化
20世纪初，许多新教徒，受过大学教育，中产阶级开始打破这一局面。
反对物质主义，工作经济的极端化。
建国之父的道德义务
1900-1918
反对工业化和城市化运动。
立法改变了童工，最少薪资，规范工作环境。。。

罗斯福放弃了放任政策，缩小垄断确保竞争
工业规范化。改善了政府形象，鼓励了1929大萧条的复兴
