To coco 和携隐，后进生回来报道了，前段时间忙了一些不得不忙得私事，搬了两次家，现在终于可以静心学习了，看了第二轮复习得计划打算这几天集中突破以下。

请问og第44篇的下面这句该如何理解:

in addition,the human capital theory explains why there was a high concertration of women workers in certian low-skill jobs, such as weaving, but not in others,such as combing and carding .....

og对265解释是这样的: weaving和combing and carding都是low-skill jobs,但根据平行结构in certain  low-skill jobs ......but not in others....应该对low-skill jobs取非呀那不就么？

请大伙帮我看看，哪根筋每理顺？？？

这是一个省略结构,把句子补全了就是:
In addition, the human capital theory explains why there was a high concentra-

tion of women workers in certain low-skill jobs, such as weaving, but not a high concentration of women workers in others, such as combing or carding, by positing that because of their primary responsibility in child rearing women took occupations that could be carried out in the home.

说明but not是对high concentration 取非, 而others 是指other low-skill jobs. 之所以把certain low-skill jobs和others进行对比,是因为certain low-skill jobs可以carried out in the home而others不行.

jaredyu,做的很好啊,加油.我感觉科技类文章要记的东西太多,我总记不太真切,虽然文章大致说什么我知道,但是具体到细节就拿不准了.

携隐mm,有时中断一段时间学习,会发现突然作题有进步呢.真的.

昨天一晚上没睡着觉,一大早上外面施工,只好愤怒地起来上网了.打算上午歇歇,下午再作题了.

high concentration取非是什么??

感觉这里是in certain low- skill jobs....but not in others.....cerntain相当于some，于后面连接起来就是some.....others....都是指low-skill jobs,只不过分成了两类：一类在家里进行，一类在外面

太好了, 一夜之间大家都会来了,

携隐MM不要伤心, 要是MM能像jaredyu 一样每天抽出4个小时看书,都还是可以实现的.我现在每天也看不了几个小时的书, 每天为吃饭的问题头疼, 呵呵.
