In that case, you need to build a compelling case to address why you need an MBA because you are already there without an MBA education. I am not quite sure about how many PE/VC professionals apply for M7 each year. If there are many, you need to differentiate yourself from them.

我们这里h/s/w都有，但是都是读完才进这个行业，之前大部分是ib、consulting的背景，参考意义不大。
不过这种情况下，很多人问我为啥要去读，殊途同归何必再去花高昂成本去读书。对我来说，其实去m7这种级别的学校读书一直是我个梦想。。。真的不想留下遗憾

是个brandname，但是也没那么大牌，偏vc。老美认的机构大部分是pe。 不过层主说的很对，国内的buyside门槛其实没那么高：）

谢谢！ 国内的话去读书的vc/pe其实不多。 不过我从几个方面考虑，一是这个行业是个看个人trackrecord的行业，国外名校背景在将来如果自己出来募基金会非常有优势，尤其募集美元基金，有个m7的背书，会得到海外投资人很大的认可；第二，我觉得国内BATX以及一些大型vc这两年一定会快速向海外布局投资，追逐硅谷最新的技术和团队，如果有国内背景又有海外经验，可能未来3-5年会很吃香。

It is very very very hard to find a PE/VC job in US. Kindly reminder.

Hello there,
Thanks for writing! Well, it’s hard to say if you can make it to an M7 without both a GMAT score and more detail about your work experience. So far, the best thing I see is your work experience and the fact that you graduated from a top university. Your 3.0 will make things tougher (and makes me think that maybe you should be thinking of Sweet 16 instead of M7). If you want to have a shot at top schools though, you will have to get a TOEFL of 109+, and a GMAT of 720+. (Anyhow the TOEFL is only good for two years, so you would have to retake it)
