i agree with that. i am just afraid that i might not like phd life style after i entered into a phd program. then the oppotunity cost would be too high for me.

there's essentially zero opportunity cost. You can quit any time you want.

Rotman的Placement一直不错啊，Finance我不清楚，Strategy一直还可以。

rotman的strategy和accouting都很不错，finance稍微次一点点，但都能进不错的大学

这个时候写申请总结估计不能帮到太多人了，大部分学校是最近deadline。
不过可以大概给你说说我觉得比较重要的：硬件就是gpa，gre，tofel等。这些现在也没太多机会改变。软件就是研究方向，在你的statement上面尽量往他们身上靠，有paper最好。
虽然写email给教授一般不管用，但是你要真没办法了也可以试试，他们有的时候会回邮件的，然后试图简历一下personal关系。
最近rotman比较喜欢英语好的，这个超级超级重要。好多中国人在这边研究做的不错但是英语不是太流利，这个会影响placement的。所以在你的申请过程中多注意你的英语，如果有面试就更应该用你的英语impress他们了。希望这些可以帮到你
