Although being a wealthy country,America is experiencing a hard time with their children and teenagers.Many children in America is feeling painful,being bullied in the school and facing the high rate of gun attack.Clearly,our children are burden with these terrific things.

Some people blame the outdated yet convinced belief for the current situation.For example,in order to cling to the sanctity of parents’ right to determine the fate of their own children, American refuses to ratify the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, an agreement can protect children’s basic right,especially when they are maltreated by their parents.Thus ,when the children are treated with corporal punishment,they can not protect themselves through legal ways.In addition,the parents prefer to adopt the corporal punishment when they teach their children and thus deepen the psychological trauma they face.What’s worse,the school of America always punishes or expels the naughty children from school instead of teaching them patiently.Consequently,zero tolerance programs are reducing children’s educational achievement, increasing their contact with the criminal justice system, and failing to improve schools overall.

Scientists now believe that children outcome depends on the environment they live —from families to neighborhoods, to culture and the economy—and the more friendly the environment,the better our children will be.Thus,the whole society should play their parts when talks about teaching child.
