there are reaction in brain just like the reaction in physics.
Brain has an area that can realease disappointment and depression.
There is an area that can react from good things,such as sex,food, ect.

A scientist did an experiment about the lateral habenula using bats and some other animals for several times.
The technology he used is new kind of called electechonolgy, which is used by elect...
After the experiments, he found that the signals appear to limit the feel of disappointment.

balance of excitment and depression in the brain. Brain can both release and accept chemical neuos.
Happy enjoyments relates of X area, and laterial H relates to negative symptom. Experiments of animals
and patients prove the balance theory.

T3  01:52.6  Steven Shabel conducted an experiment and found that the same cell was releasing both excitatory and inhibitory signals into the lateral habenula. The excitatory signals dominate and the inhibitory signals appear to limit the excitation.
T4  02:34.1  Shabel used antidepressants to normal mice with depression, and found that the inhibitory signals to the lateral habenula increased. So he thought antidepressants can reduce people’s processing of negative events. But there’re many factors influencing the correctness of the result.
