2. " in the 1970's" 是正确的, 那" in 1970's" 是吗?

1.whether用在这里不太恰当,因为后面有一个句子,我想前面的whether改成after,这个句子就通顺了.( 我记得好像是有个故事说大家以为那个elm的年代很久了,是Georgia Washinton当年种下的,后面树死了,被砍伐的时候发现树的年龄并没有大家想的那么老.------大概是酱紫的)

2.我觉得应该是in the 1970's 吧.------"二十世纪70年代".
