Hello, everybody, please count me in. I'm so new to this board that I don't anybody yet. I plan to take GMAT either in May or early June depending on my progress. Plus, I'd like to make a few new friends from this board to go through this maybe my toughest decison so far together. Here's some info about myself. I'm in Bay Area, CA now. I graduated with my master's degree from a US school and have been working in a Fortune 300 company for 2 years now as a programmer. I have to admit that getting into the IT area may have been an unwise decision for me. After quite some time of struggling with myself, I've come closer and closer to realize that coming out of the day, everybody should be doing the things he/she really wants to do. The things, for me, then are marketing related product management including marketing research, sales operation, advertising, etc. With my experience, I'm planning on returnning to software industry doing product management after getting my MBA. Of course, things might change and I may not necessarily come back to IT, but that's just my plan now. I really hope to get into one of the top schools on west coast with a decent GMAT score. The facts that I have a full time job to deal with and I've been out of school for a while make it really tough for me to pick up GMAT. On the top of them, I'm not one of the most diligent Chinese students at all. With these being said, I'm looking for encouragement from people, either in or out of this area, who plan to take GMAT soon and apply for 2006 MBA. |
